The series "Complete" , the work of a professional firm specializing in Canadian elaborazione artistica digitale, ha rivoluzionato la saga di S.T.A.L.K.E.R. nell'aprile del 2009 col mod "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete 2009" per Shadow of Chernobyl : una grafica di nuova generazione, in grado di aggiornare il motore grafico X-Ray conferendogli tutti gli effetti grafici e ambientali che le DX 9 potessero realizzare, ottenendo una resa globale assolutamente impensabile per l'X-Ray quando S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fu rilasciato a marzo del 2007. Al primo capolavoro fece seguito, a circa un anno di distanza, un lavoro analogo effettuato sull'X-Ray 1.5, dedicato a "Clear Sky" : stessa filosofia, stessa accuratezza artistica, stessa resa finale, stesso successo. L'impatto finale, soprattutto dal punto di vista estetico, fu decisamente minore rispetto al lavoro precedente, anche per via degli elevati standard qualitativi con cui GSC propose al pubblico la versione 1.5 dell'X-Ray: pesante e buggato, certo, ma un gran bel vedere per quanto riguardava impatto grafico ed effetti atmosferici. La resa grafica è stata comunque migliorata; il gioco reso più stabile, realistico e coerente; la miriade di bug affrontata e, per la maggior parte, risolta; introdotte ulteriori migliorie in grado di conferire al prodotto finale quel tocco di classe in più. Oggi, il "Clear Sky Complete" è stato aggiornato alla versione 1.1.3, nonostante lo Studio Dolgov stia lavorando a pieno regime sull'ultimo capitolo della serie, il "Call of Pripyat Complete" , which we expect the release in April 2011 (although there are not yet confirm or deny that effect). A few, but significant, changes made by the author:
